At some point there was a file archived here of a high quality audience recording dated 3/26/68 Melodyland Theater consisting of:

Good Morning Little Schoolgirl > Death Don't Have No Mercy, Sittin' On Top Of The World, Dark Star

Though the Grateful Dead did perform at the Melodyland Theater in Anaheim during March of 1968, this music is probably not from that performance.

Dick Latvala claimed that this sequence was actually from the 3/29/68 Carousel Ballroom performance, and it has been included on the most recent remaster of this show to be added here. However the sonic signature of this music is entirely different from the Grateful Dead produced stage mic/soundboard matrix we know to be recorded on 3/29/68. I think it's very likely that the sequence once attributed to the Melodyland Theater is actually from 3/30 or more likely 3/31 at the Carousel Ballroom.

Hey, thanks for the history! Between Deadlists and Deadbase, I don't know where to turn for accuracy.

I'm a big Phish listener and the phish.net site (operated by fans, not the band) has done a beautiful job of archiving Phish's setlists. Very user friendly, easy to cross-reference, and updated frequently. I understand it would be an absolutely mammoth undertaking, but I think something similar to this needs to be done at some point for the good ol' Grateful Dead.
